Dennis Daily spent the first decade of his radio career in southern Indiana, working as a production manager, disk jockey and eventually assistant news director of a medium-market station.
He would spend the next 20 years there --first as an all-news anchor, then producer for "The Larry King Show," then as a Congressional press secretary, a national spokesman for the USDA, and finally as a news anchor and reporter for United Press International.
Twenty years to the day after he moved to Washington, Dennis arrived in Los Angeles to work in the UPI radio bureau there. Eventually he would move to Las Vegas, becoming a national feature writer, after UPI sold off its radio news operations. Further downsizing at UPI led him to Merced and his current position with KYOS.
