Shaden considers himself a true child of radio. The well-known archivist and radio host, grew up influenced by his radio heroes, Jack Benny, Fred Allen and, of course, Norman Corwin -- the creator of some of radio's greatest moments and dramas.
Shaden, for many years, ran his own nostalgia shop in the Chicago suburbs and wrote a ton of stories on radio's golden days. Some if Chuck's favorite shows are "The Jack Benny Show," "The Phil Harrris/Alice Faye Show," "The Man Called X" and "Suspense."
Listen for Chuck, as he brings back the golden days of radio, often bringing his personal insights into the broadcasts.
