  • Registrar: redistricting has created many new voting precincts in Merced

    The Registrar of Voters office has completed the redistricting process and has created many new precincts due to the redistricting of the Board of Supervisors.

  • Bloss Scholarship applications available to MUHSD seniors and graduates

    Bloss Scholarship applications are now available to seniors and graduates of the Merced Union High School District who are planning to attend an accredited California college or vocational school. Applicants must have graduated from Merced Union High District in June 1973 or after. Applications are due by April 11th. Applications are available on the Internet: www.muhsd.k12.ca.us (click on departments, College/Scholarship Counseling) or at the local high school guidance offices.

  • Six Merced College theater students attend national festival in Utah

    Six Merced College theater students recently attended the American College Theatre Festival at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. The six — Julian Bremer, Alma Reyes, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Amber Fowler, Jenna George and Barrett Roseman — attended the festival Feb. 6-11.

  • Merced College accepting course proposal for summer College for Kids

    Merced College's Community Services is now accepting course proposals for the summer 2012 College for Kids program. The programs will begin in mid-June and end in early-August. Most classes are two-week courses and can be offered several times throughout the summer.
